Understand engineering principles across multiple disciplines.
Plan and implement engineering programs, activities and milestones, effectively lead cross functional teams and direct objectives clearly.
Design analog and digital electronic circuits to meet product requirements, including cost targets, capture circuit schematics and create PCB layouts.Generate PCBA manufacturing documentation (BOMs, gerbers,assembly drawings)
Support Android / Linux system testing , engineering samples validation and feedback.
Gather and analysis CAN data, reverse engineering CAN protocol, assist international team.
Determine design elements by conducting in-vehicle research, be solely responsible for a project, or lead or participate in a small development team.
Interact with other functional groups, customers and vendors to coordinate technical matter and to contribute technically on projects.
Provide engineering support to certification test, EMC, FCC, Carplay, Android Auto etc.
Assist design engineer 3D scan and print.
Travel domestically and internationally.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or 10+ years of progressive engineering experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
5 years of experience in automotive audio/video related field.
Specific experience required in 3 or more of the CAN bus or related field.
ESD protective training and electronics handling techniques needed.
Experience with testing and development tools.
Ability to communicate effectively, verbal and written.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with peers in cross functional areas, work cooperatively with management.
