Position Summary: Serves as key strategist with the Executive in initiating and developing new strategic direction, long- and short-range plans and innovative initiatives. Has high level authority to make official commitments and to broadly represent the Executive's interests across the organization. Responds to issues with little or no precedence. May manage and administer independent program(s), typically with organization-wide impact. May manage professional staff handling diverse administrative functions such as human resources and budgetary planning. Uses advanced concepts and organizational objectives to resolve highly complex issues. Regularly works on highly complex issues or problems which require analysis of unique issues / problems without precedent and / or structure. Exercises a high level of judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

Administers small to mid-level independent program(s), typically with broad and / or organization-wide impact. Facilities and Asset Management - Develops the strategic vision for the Facilities and Asset Management (FAM) unit that includes six (6) FTE. The FAM unit is responsible for the development and implementation of the Integrated Capital Asset Management Program (ICAMP) that includes an enterprise software platform that has been developed to manage capital asset inventory and condition data. This data provides the University with a robust dataset to inform decision making around capital funding allocation. This effort includes ongoing consensus building with systemwide stakeholders on the methodology on the data collection and calibration. Develops and executes resource management strategies to conduct systemwide facilities condition assessments (FCA). This includes securing funds from multiple sources to implement FCAs (with both campus and third-party resources) and operational costs.
Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Required
