Reporting to the Director of Digital Scholarship, the Institution Repository Library Specialist acts as the key liaison with the Graduate School to handle the publication of theses and dissertations using the Digital Commons system and assists graduate students with the submission process and copyright questions. Other responsibilities include populating UKnowledge (UK's institutional repository), creating and updating online profiles of UK researchers, assisting UK authors with questions about copyright and UKnowledge, and helping to develop outreach activities and promotional materials in support of digital scholarship.

Experience of copyright checking for scholarly work. Knowledge of practices and business models of academic publishing. Ability to understand citations of scholarly materials.
