The Systems Training Coordinator works closely with the Advancement IT team to develop and maintain instructional material and training course content focused on systems learning for users at varied levels of technical acumen. They are responsible for compiling information for use in course development and the creation of training aids and reference materials, writing training scripts, preparing instructor led course materials and delivering training to end users on various types of software in support of business objectives. This position creates written information about the organization's IT systems that aid in development, use and support, and will also assist in the creation and editing of IT helpdesk knowledge base articles and FAQs.
Serving as Advancement's Administrator for the university's online training tool, BuckeyeLearn will include the ability to add and manage online and in-person training programs, be a resource for applicable usage reporting and enforce compliance of training standards. They will also be available to assist other Advancement teams with their training programs that are focused on related functionalities within The Advancement System (TAS) which is our large-scale customer relationship management database.
The Systems Training Coordinator will also function as a system administrator, triaging reported systems issues, establishing priority and assigning to appropriate resources.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Project Management the Systems Training Coordinator is expected to work with Advancement IT teammates to keep up to date on system/software revisions and is responsible for the accuracy, relevance and timeliness of related training materials and programs. They will work independently, be able to organize and prioritize work effectively, and possess decision making capabilities and discretion while communicating with a high degree of competency, transparency and foresight when interacting with Advancement employees of all levels within the organization.

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Three years of experience training users on computer software. Experience developing and publishing training material for instructor led and computer-based training. Demonstrated ability to train and adapt technical information to users at varying levels of technical capabilities.
Experience in a systems administration capacity with proven ability to analyze user needs and assign appropriate resources. Intermediate skill level with windows OS, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience designing train-the-trainer sessions.
Target Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 Annually
