St. Anne's-Belfield School seeks a full-time Learning Village Computer Science Program Coordinator for students in Grades K - 8. The Computer Science program coordinator will ideally teach one to two elective courses in a computer science-related field (examples include but are not limited to, digital art, introduction to coding, 3-D printing, making, robotics, etc.) and be responsible for the afternoon, weekend and summer computer science and innovation enrichment opportunities for students in grades K - 8 and the greater Charlottesville community. The ideal candidate for the role will be a dynamic, accessible and connected teacher; dedicated to helping students to learn from failure and to take initiative by proactively searching for questions, problems, and creative solutions; an enthusiastic learner themselves; one who thrives in a program that promotes student-driven learning and empowers students to own their learning and solve real-world problems; and an effective collaborator with the members of the St. Anne's-Belfield Computer Science department as well as the Grades K - 8 faculty as a whole.
