This position is in the Graduate Medical Education Office. The position is located in the McDonnell Medical Sciences Building. This position is for the Medical School Campus.
This position is responsible for project management, plan development, communication strategies of GME projects and the work of its support staff for the Office of the Associate Dean for GME.� This position is also responsible for the day to day supervision of support staff and works in close collaboration with the Executive Director for GME to ensure timely completion of GME projects.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project and Data Management����
Identifies project goals, outcomes, deliverables, and key stakeholders and participants for planning short and long-term projects to ensure future accreditation compliance and institutional communication with sponsored programs.� Develops overall approach and planning process for assigned projects.� Assembles project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.�
Develops program and institutional reporting of Annual Program Review (APR) data to Educational Monitoring Subcommittee (EMS).� Backup support for Executive Director for oversight of program compliance.
Creates and manages process improvement and quality assurance initiatives related to institutional oversight.
Accreditation, Training, and Support
Manages Institutional Residency Management Software (RMS) as Global Administrator and RMS vendor liaison.�� Responsible for data integrity, warehousing, reporting functions and support of RMS.� Includes oversight of resident performance and rotation data, annual migration of house staff demographic data, administration of user profiles and security roles, rotation data, and other accreditation information within the RMS.� Designs, builds, and manages anonymous surveys for institutional accreditation compliance.�
Leads all RMS training initiatives targeted to GME Consortium staff and faculty and residency and fellowship program staff and faculty.� Accountable for consistent level of competence across user populations, specifically in block scheduling, procedure logging, evaluations, monitoring conference attendance, duty hours, program milestone tracking, as well as general personnel/demographic tracking, or additional modules as developed or otherwise directed.
Specific accountability for projects related to ACGME or other accrediting entity activities.� Examples include monitoring of house staff related data, resident and fellow quarterly duty hour violation data, wellness activities, NRMP program quota changes, and other activities to ensure compliance with accreditation and consortium standards.
Collaborates with BJC Finance Office to ensure output data meets Medicare Cost Report compliance requirements.� Accountability for timely payment of ACGME, NRMP Match, and other regulatory agency fees.
Ensures compliance with policies of the Office of Education, School of Medicine, and University.� Designs and implements Division procedures as necessary to ensure effective operations.
In collaboration with Executive Director and Office of Education Administration, contributes to determination of GME dedicated technology, human capital, communication strategies, and space needs as necessary.� Responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective Division operations and workflows.
In conjunction with Executive Director, determines hiring decisions, performance appraisals, and staff remediation and coaching activities for Division.� Responsible for time and labor approval for staff and incoming and exiting clinical fellow appointments.
Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
Master’s degree in Business/Healthcare/Information Technologies with extensive background in successful project design and implementation.
5 years’ experience in Graduate Medical Experience preferred.
Ability to meet many levels of customers’ needs in a timely and efficient manner.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with several customers’ needing attention at the same time.
Strong organizational, communication and decision making skills are essential, as is the ability to multitask and set priorities.
Skills must include the ability to successfully investigate, develop and or implement solutions for ongoing regulatory demands. .
Consideration will be given to those with an advanced understanding of Graduate Medical Education.

The hiring range for this position is $56,472 - $73,403 annually.
