The Campaign Manager is primarily responsible for acting as the project manager for the Development team in as it undergoes a three year fundraising campaign. The Campaign Manager will serve as “air traffic control” for the intensive and urgent campaign. They will lead efforts which will result in the fundraising success of the campaign. The Campaign Manager will coordinate all outward facing donor work and collaborate with all members of the Development team as well as other internal partners and high level volunteers. The Campaign Manager will use fundraising management systems to produce donor reports, perform analyses and research, and track goals and donors strategy. Tasks include coordinating all meetings and events, data entry, developing and implementing fund raising reports, and other written materials as assigned. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to prioritize as well as multi-task. Fund development is essential to the overall success of the organization; it is imperative that the person in this role be dedicated to providing the support needed to assist in securing the resources necessary to fulfill the mission of the organization.
1) Provide leadership to PPIL’s three year fundraising campaign program by overseeing, maintaining, and continuously improving a robust moves management system in collaboration with Campaign Director and the individual and major giving team. 2) Lead prospect review meetings with internal stakeholders. 3) Translate donor strategy to moves that can be tracked and measured in Salesforce. 4) Ensure that major gift planning timelines and benchmarks are on track and deadlines are met. 5) Advise on Campaign recognition opportunities to steward donors appropriately. 6) Track progress to goal and advise on donor solicitation strategies. 7) Equip Staff Campaign Volunteers and Board Members with expert training, information and developing strategies to ensure their success through making the right ask. 8) Oversee data management best practices for the Campaign – ensuring donors are recognized appropriately. 9) Conduct top prospect research and provide analysis to ensure creation of robust discovery pipeline. 10) Develop materials to support all facets of campaign events (1:1 donor meetings, events, small cultivation events), including briefing memos, outlines, talking points and strategic follow up. 11) Serve as primary support for Campaign Committee, by providing logistical support (scheduling, agenda, materials, and minutes) for all committee meetings. 12) Serve as PPIL liaison with PPFA (Planned Parenthood Federation of America) to manage bi-annual portfolio review.

Supervisor: Campaign Director
Status: Full time. Exempt from the provisions of wage and salary regulations.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
Experience: Three to five years prior fundraising experience preferred, or equivalent experience in a position involving database management, research, and writing. Strong working knowledge of MS Office software and fundraising database programs is required.
Professional Qualities: Extraordinary organizational and communication skills, strong writing skills, and an ability to participate in creative processes for department planning and projecting are required. Ability to cultivate positive, productive relationships with donors and offer excellent customer service. Research skills, including tenacity, perseverance, and a strong results focus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to carry out duties respecting the sensitive and confidential nature of donor-related information and materials, and to demonstrate mature judgment in handling donor concerns.
