JOB SUMMARY Provides legal analysis and contract review of a defined portfolio of properties as part of real estate transaction activities for our corporate clients. Reviews various types of real property agreements, governmental compliance requirements, and rate analysis as part of preparing and presenting detailed information to enable clients to strategize, assess, and implement occupancy needs. Assists with project management and portfolio planning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Interprets and analyzes real property agreements for legal compliance and contracting principles as part of coordinating with corporate and client procedures. Negotiates and interprets contracts and monitors fulfillment of contractual obligations and administration. Creates and maintains contract templates and other standard forms that may be required for creation of agreements. Works with and advises members various corporate teams and other cross functional leaders (Risk, Compliance, Legal, etc.), and business stakeholders to ensure adherence. Facilitates closeout process including hand off to lease administration team. Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of 2 to 4 years of related experience and/or training. Juris Doctorate with one to five years real estate or contract administration experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES Bar certification preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause significant impact to client, co-workers, and supervisor.
