SUMMARY: The position supports the McCain Finance group, with an emphasis on supporting the commercial finance requirements for McCain USA. The Sr. Financial Analyst brings financial leadership to create joint value creation with our customers through best-in class analysis and controls. This includes identifying pricing opportunities, trade fund optimization and cash improvement initiatives to maximize profitability. In addition, this role will contribute to improve our internal systems and processes to maintain high controls and improve decision making supporting tools. Various special projects related to business improvement and integration will arise from time to time. This position reports to the Manager, Finance, Region Chain, Schools and Retail.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze customer profitability, prepare margin analysis reports and develop and present proposal analysis and generate post-mortem analysis to senior sales team.
Creation of monthly pricing reports and sales data/reports for commercial organization and provide analysis on pricing taken and volume/gross margin trends and provide insight or rationale on customers with unacceptable margins.
Prepare financial analysis regarding the impact of new region chain and schools bid business. Use pricing system to provide analysis that quantifies potential revenue opportunity for business and present to Sales VPs and Directors.
Develop and present monthly sales reports and analysis utilizing End User Profitability and Microstrategy reporting for K-12 for sales leadership and McCain senior leadership.
Develop specialized sales and margin analysis reports in response to ad-hoc requests.
Serve as SME for pricing system and end user profitability system and utilize project management skills to drive system enhancements and issue resolution.
Lead special projects as assigned.

Work collaboratively with others and institute best practices in responsibilities and share them throughout the US Commercial Finance team.
Develop relationships with commercial partners and throughout the organization.

Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
3 - 5+ years Finance experience including financial analysis, pricing and trade, or accounting is required.
Microsoft Office skills are required, including use of Microsoft Access and must have advanced Microsoft Excel skills with ability to manipulate large quantities of data.
Previous experience with SAP, Vistex and Microstrategy are preferred.
Prior experience working with tight deadlines and demonstrated responsibility for accuracy and timeliness for work performed.
Strong analytical skills are required.
Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills. Must be able to convey information to all levels of the organization in a clear, focused, and concise manner.
Experience with CPG or other food manufacturing companies strongly preferred.
