The Business Development Analyst will be responsible for supporting the company’s business development efforts to analyze the profitability of potential transactions, model new opportunity financial projections, lead market research for growth opportunities, and support the company’s development activities in the kidney care industry. This position will also provide research and analysis on various projects and participate in the management of actively developed projects.
Financial modeling for acquisitions, divestitures and financial projections, including valuation analyses as applicable
Conduct relevant market analyses including market participants, expansion opportunities and overall market trends
Review and analyze client, market data, and industry research for pitch and other client meetings
Support efforts for preparing reports for Senior Management and Board of Directors
Liaise with other teams across the enterprise, particularly operations, information services and corporate finance department
Actively participate in meeting with physician groups and internal customers to address their needs/questions.
Responsible for driving the Satellite Healthcare culture through values and customer service standards
Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers
Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication
Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner
Some travel may be required (est. 5%)
Minimum Education & Experience:
BA or BS in finance or other relevant majors
Minimum of Five years of relevant experience
Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including macros and database management) proficient user of Word and Power Point
Experience with financial modeling including integrated financial statements, equity and debt structures
Self-motivated, with excellent time management, project management skills and sound judgement
The ability to think analytically
Desire to learn new skills for continued career growth
A positive attitude and ability to coordinate efforts with others inside and outside the department as a “Team Player”
Strongly motivated to work in an industry that cares for those with chronic disease
Able to read, write, speak, understand and satisfactorily communicate with others in English in person, over the phone and via email
