Work closely with customers, vendors and team members to support the day-to-day administration of the systems responsible for campus ID card, Point of Sale and Card Access Control operations, as well as the Campus Radios. Will be the subject matter expert and administrator of these systems and their integration across campus and vendor partners. Use deep technical and procedural knowledge along with analytical skill to triage, investigate, and solve problems, as well as manage new initiatives leveraging these systems in alignment with business and IT strategies.
Support current Enterprise Application Software.
Manages administration, configuration, maintenance, upgrading and troubleshooting of the Campus Radio, CBORD CS Gold, and Appetize POS systems, as well as the integration of these to other enterprise campus systems. This includes electronic access control systems, meal plans, stored value credit plans, and POS terminals for both CS Gold and Appetize.
Serve as the vendor liaison for all technical issues of above systems, including timely synthesis of vendor communications and developments (i.e. upgrades, patches, release notes, security vulnerabilities etc.)
Resolves technical issues, including monitoring applications and responding to all customer reported issues. Facilitate the resolution of complicated support issues requiring escalation to the vendor. Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes. Contribute to system enhancements by identifying and quantifying customer requirements, delineating the gaps between business requirements and the capabilities of existing systems.
Serve as lead campus liaison for all POS related issues, providing appropriate communication of critical information and service disruptions.
Manage new service deployments.
Create, configure and monitor new Access Control, POS, and Radio locations in test and production environments.
Work within the departmental release management process for deployment.
Request server and network resources.
Request firewall exceptions.
Deploys and configures departmental applications for on campus partners and manages integration with other OIT servers and systems.
Works with OIT and other campus partners to facilitate infrastructure, data and communications needs.
Develop, tests, and maintain data interfaces between various student and employee campus data systems and card office to ensure proper communication and population of data.
Utilize Oracle SQL and Crystal Reports (or similar product) to write custom scripts and reports for analysis. Develop, support, and maintain required scheduled and ad hoc system reports.
Act as technical lead on large related enterprise projects.
Act as project manager on small to medium projects.
Analyze and document relevant technical, project, and applications management processes.
Software Asset Management.
Balance available licenses with the number of actual licenses consumed or required for upcoming projects.
Ensure that maintenance, support and upgrade protection renewals are managed/handled/ordered in advance of their expiration.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field. Two (2) years of experience with an advanced understanding of relational database, client-server concepts, computer programming, systems analysis and design or the equivalent experience.
Six (6) years of an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in computer science, information technology or related field.
Master's degree in related field and four (4) years of experience with an advanced understanding of relational database, client-server concepts, computer programming, systems analysis and design.
Background working in higher education.
Ability to build SQL scripts and queries for data analysis and extraction.
Experience with CBORD CSGold or other Campus ID card, meal plans, declining balance programs, and access control systems and related technologies.
Experience with Micros 9700, Simphony, Appetize, or other enterprise point of sale system.
Experience with various dynamic programming languages such as Python, Perl, etc.
