RESPEC, an integrated consulting and services company that provides clients with high-quality technical and advisory services covering a variety of industries, seeks a Help Desk Service Specialist.
The Help Desk Service Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the client’s Service Level Agreements are met by providing administrative help-desk support. The successful candidate will work under the direction of client project managers in help-desk ticket triage and management.
Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise. Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package that consists of medical, vision, dental, holidays, paid leave, 401(k) Plan, Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), continuing education, and professional societies. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Work closely with the client to ensure that processes are understood, and expectations are met
Ensure that help-desk tickets are triaged and managed according to processes provided by the client
Set up and host on-line meetings between customers and developers to facilitate ticket resolution
Provide support on additional projects as assigned by client.
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to obtain Public Trust Security Clearance
Literate in computer programs (i.e., Microsoft Suite, SharePoint, Visual Studio Team System, and Virtual Private Network)
Effective time management
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Willing to work as a team
Previous help-desk experience is preferred
Technical writing experience is preferred.
