Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce/Visitor & Convention Bureau is seeking a qualified full-time Digital Content Manager to join our fast-paced marketing and sales team. Reporting to the Vice President of the Visitor & Convention Bureau, you have the technical expertise and project management skills that will support our company's goal of supporting an optimized, high-performing web experience for our staff, partners and visitors.
This position demands an enthusiastic team player with a strong project management background, solid organizational skills and a well-developed ability to prioritize. In addition, excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Lastly, this person will also need to be resourceful, solution oriented and willing to execute.
Responsibilities as a Digital Content Manager, your role will be varied and include, but not be limited to, the following in support of our business objectives:
Main POC for CRM and CMS platforms; daily maintenance, implementation, troubleshooting
Experience with content management platforms for publishing content
Project Management, internal and digital agency
Proficient in using Drupal, WordPress and HTML
Support feature upgrades for existing website(s)
Digital retouching and image editing
Proactively prevent errors & resolve reported issues internally and/or working with digital agency
Effectively collaborate with teammates, clients and project stakeholders
Efficient in Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
Knowledge of pixel creation, implementation and tracking across multiple platforms
Define and provide critical site performance metrics in an easy to understand manner with internal stakeholders and partners
Work with digital agency to ensure monthly analysis of website performance and partner website programs
Meet with internal stakeholders regularly to discuss requirements and/or project progress
Manage and optimize landing pages, website calls-to-action (CTAs), event calendar listings/ calendar and destination app
Collaborate with Sr. Marketing Manager and Multi-Media Sales Manager to ensure partner programs and performance
Minimum of 3 years CRM and CMS experience
Highly competent using desktop and cloud-based applications incl: G-Suite, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suites, email
marketing software, project management tools
Sound organization skills with a structured approach to planning and implementation
Google Analytics Certification would be considered an asset
