The person filling this central role must understand the policies of the Office of Academic Registration and Records as they relate to faculty, staff and students. Positioned at the front desk of the Office of Academic Registration and Records, this person is the first point of contact for the office to provide accurate information and direction to walk-ins and callers, and support the work of the personnel in the Office of Registration and Records. Part-time, Hourly, Non-exempt (20 hours per week)
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree preferred. Some college coursework with above average GPA required.
Experience working in a professional office setting with multiple personnel is required. Prior work experience in a higher education academics-related setting is preferred.
Experience answering multi-line phone system and directing callers.
Experience working with multiple computer applications and programs. Work with a student information system is preferred.
Experience with filing and digital imaging required.
Positive, friendly personality with exceptional customer service skills for a fast-paced work environment.
Proven track-record of good communication skills.
Proven track-record of good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proven track-record of self-initiation and teamwork.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
