The Communications Representative/Corporate Communications Specialist translates business priorities into creative content, infused with the Conifer culture. The role identifies opportunities, generates purposeful content, manages a variety of channels, and gathers metrics to inform communication strategy and business goals. This role supports communications strategy through consistent messaging and connectivity to business goals for both internal and external communication channels. This position produces high-quality, error-free communications that adhere to the Conifer style guide. The person is innovative and drives strategic messages to both internal and external audiences. The role requires excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Research and write communication materials, such as intranet content, infographics, social media posts, videos, news releases, leader memos, talking points, speeches, presentations, etc.
Plan and execute communications programs and tactics that engage and inspire audiences. Support execution of announcements, media relations and employee engagement initiatives.
Publish content on internal channels (intranet, digital signage), support email distribution and measure results.
Report on content performance and advise leaders on whatï¿½s effective in aligning team members to business strategy.
Organize, coordinate and promote special events

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.
Bachelorï¿½s degree in communications, public relations, journalism or related field
3-5 years related communications experience
Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and email marketing programs
Web and content production experience a plus
Photo and video editing skills a plus
Include minimum certification required to perform the job.
Membership or participation in IABC or PRSA a plus
