CBRE's Chicago Legal Department seeks a law clerk for a full-time legal internship position, working approximately 40 hours per week during the Summer, with the potential to turn into a part-time legal internship position in the Fall. The position will be based in CBRE's Downtown Chicago office and will report to the Managing Attorney of the Chicago office.
Under the supervision of the Legal Department's team of attorneys, the candidate will be exposed to transactional law and litigation practice, primarily in the areas of commercial brokerage and real estate services, and general corporate law. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, legal research and writing, interpretation and application of laws and regulations, and reviewing, evaluating and editing contracts and other legal documents.
This internship is designed for candidates with a strong academic credentials and excellent legal research and writing skills. The position is limited to entering 2L and 3L law students.
