What You Will Do:
• Lead the development and implementation of the data analytics strategy to turn data into knowledge and insights to support product value propositions in customer campaigns • Work across multiple crops and product portfolios, e.g. herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, etc. to effectively promote the positioning of our products and build excitement and confidence internally and externally with customers • Facilitate stakeholder engagement across relevant teams within the Syngenta organization to ensure product positioning is based on sound data analytics and insights • Lead the application of digital tools, imagery analysis, and interactive visualization of data and information to promote the agronomic value of the Crop Protection and Seed Care portfolios • Responsible for data mining, analysis, and summarization within and across commercial units; lead and support return on investment message development • Develop and manage processes and tools associated with turning data into knowledge for use by the commercial teams for demand generation • Work with commercial and marketing colleagues to develop key sales support collateral including competitive comparisons, and gain appropriate approvals • Lead management of commercial on-farm trialing data, e.g. archiving, organizing, deployment • Support active ingredient sales support protocol development and entry into R&D systems for execution by the R&D team • Participate in portfolio learning opportunities, e.g. tours, meetings, etc.
Who You Are:
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in an Agronomy, Weed Science, Entomology, Plant Pathology or other agricultural related science with experience in turning data into insights • Understanding the business end-use of knowledge generated and tailoring data objectives to meet business needs • Experience/education in experimental design, statistical analysis, data interpretation, digital tools, mapping, satellite/drone imagery, and data visualization platforms, e.g. SAS, Tableau, ArcGIS, PowerPoint, FarmShots, etc. • Experience in agricultural or biological research, data capture and analysis, project summarization and interpretation. • Experience in turning data and information into knowledge and insights
