This position requires multiple skillsets and experience to support a number of Building Information Modeling (BIM) initiatives and functions. The candidate can be expected to interact with design, construction, facilities and internal clinical teams. The primary tasks for this position will be developing Revit models from AutoCAD files, maintaining UCHealth Revit models and associated data in ARCHIBUS followed by retrieving electronic drawing files, printing or copying and/or distributing them to internal and external teams. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn healthcare facilities and operations. UCHealth's BIM operations are earning recognition for some of the most advanced uses of BIM by an owner.
Job Duties/Preferred Requirements:
1 year experience using Revit
Technical school training in Building Information Modeling, Revit, or Associate's degree in architecture, interior design, or related building engineering disciplines
Ability to address multiple tasks
Attend MEP coordination meetings
Strong internal customer service skills (interacting with Facilities, Design + Construction Project Managers, Project Manager Facilities Associates, and clinical or executive leadership)
Strong external customer service skills (interacting with AEC teams and contractors)
Conveying UCHealth BIM standards to Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) teams
Some travel to Front Range facilities (Fort Collins, Yampa Valley, Colorado Springs)
Ability to survey facilities, sketch changes, and update Revit models
Knowledge of Integrated Workspace Management Systems (IWMS), especially ARCHIBUS, is a plus
Knowledge of computerized maintenance and management systems (CMMS), especially BIM 360 Ops, is a plus
Work Schedule: Full Time Days
Updates CAD drawings. Maintains square footage calculations of facilities for CMS and other entity requirements.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Architecture or related field. Required Licensure/Certification: Valid Colorado Driver's License.
IF APPLICABLE: BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. All life support certification cards must be issued by either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer. (American Red Cross for the Professional Rescuer is only good upon hire and all renewals will need to be through an American Heart Association sanctioned course.)
