Role Purpose: The HR Project Manager provides consultative input on risks, costs and challenges of acquisition targets during the due diligence process, and manages the HR systems, employee data and HR process aspects of planning and executing the integration of acquisitions. This role is a key member of the HR M&A team, responsible to ensure that acquisition employees are hired and onboarded with a positive experience and supported during and after transition successfully by our HR Services and HR Technology teams and processes. This requires acting as the liaison between the HR M&A team and functional areas of Payroll, Time, Service Center, Benefit Administration, Immigration, Relocation, Employee Data, HR Technology, IT and Legal. This role offers the ability to influence the outcome of the company's M&A investments, and the opportunity to manage and deliver on high-profile projects. The ideal candidate will be consultative with a comprehensive understanding of HR processes, including payroll, systems and data complexities, while also being a hands-on problem solver able to drive measurable results for the HR contributions to the company's M&A strategy. Primary Responsibilities:
Act as a subject matter expert during due diligence efforts to represent the complexities of HR systems integration, employee data migration, payroll implementation and other HR process/policy and cost related considerations.
Project manage all related workstreams including but not limited to payroll and time, employee data, HR Service Center to ensure an effective, integrated project plan is established and successfully executed. Identify and escalate as required, project risks and risk mitigation plans.
Partner with IT and HR teams to effectively manage systems integration and employee data migration efforts into all company and applicable third-party systems.
Partner with HRBPs and Legal on employment transition considerations, ensuring compliance to local regulatory requirements.
Partner with Legal and other departments as required to understand all dependencies related to legal entity registrations needed for Payroll and Benefits, and ensure all requirements are planned for and met.
During due diligence and initial acquisition planning, partner with process owners to document financial implications to HR integration and ongoing HR support.
Manage project to meet timeline, budget and quality standards. Work cross-functionally with other project stakeholders to ensure project dependencies are identified, communicated and managed.
