The Community Relations Department of USC Verdugo Hills Hospital is seeking a Program Manager to operationalize the vision of the ARC for our Foothill communities.

Foothill ARC will work to educate and assist community members with determining the most appropriate and least restrictive resources for older persons, always striving to maintain dignity and independence. This position is funded by an 18-month pilot-project grant. Accordingly, the existence of this position beyond the pilot-project phase is contingent upon receipt of outside funding.
Minimum Education:Masters in social work (MSW) or equivalent education in related field such as nursing, psychology, public health or gerontology.Minimum Experience/Knowledge:â¢ Knowledge of health and other issues affecting older adultsâ¢ Knowledge of resources and social services available to older adultsâ¢ Direct service provider to individuals and groups, including family caregiversâ¢ Experienced supervisor, including to student interns â¢ Experience creating, coordinating and facilitating community partnershipsâ¢ Experience in providing community group presentations and trainingsâ¢ Demonstrated skills with networking and fostering collaborationâ¢ Experienced in program development, as well as project managementâ¢ Working knowledge of multiple software applications, including social media
