The Research Assistant II Non-Lab has primary responsibility for providing research support for the Program Director in a busy research environment with multiple research projects.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Processing, organizing and summarizing data, reporting results using a variety of scientific, word processing, spreadsheet or statistical software applications or program platforms
Conducting telephone interviews with enrolled participants on several research projects
Coordinating human subjects administration for both domestic and international research projects
Performing data entry for multiple research projects and organizing/maintaining study files
Coordinating and carrying out other designated research tasks and projects, making use of selected methodology and materials, field work, library research, statistical analysis, or other investigative techniques
Managing public inquiries regarding Program Director's research program and studies
Conducting library research and web-based research
Collating, organizing, and/or drafting material for the preparation of research papers, meetings, manuscripts, progress reports, articles or other documents for publication and/or presentation
Other duties as assigned
PLEASE NOTE: This position has a term appointment of 2 years from date of hire, with the possibility of extension.

2+ years of related experience is required; a combination of education and experience may be considered
Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred
Experience with RedCap is strongly preferred
Experience with SAS is a plus
Strong attention to detail preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills preferred
Works well in a team preferred
Experience organizing information electronically/digitally preferred
Handles sensitive information with absolute confidentiality preferred
Organizes work, define priorities, take initiative and meet deadlines preferred
