Lead strategy and management of College Admissions & Financial Aid social media channels, while staying informed about evolving trends and opportunities in the digital space.
Support recruitment initiatives through design, development, and execution of digital campaign content. Collaborate with staff and students to publish stories on the website and distribute through digital channels.
Plan, draft, and execute email campaigns for recruitment and general admissions communications. Evaluate and optimize effectiveness of campaigns; propose and design new email messages.
Supervise a team of part-time student workers, including assigning projects and tasks as appropriate.
Support overall website content and enhancements as needed. Act as lead web content owner for designated subset of webpages.
Work with Director to monitor and evaluate departmental communications operations and processes to maximize efficiency, improve workflow, and enhance production quality.
Research new digital technologies, identify opportunities, and implement best practices for email, web, and social channels.
Help canonize best practices into guidelines that can be used by the broader college and university community.
Partner with other offices as needed to support university-wide digital initiatives.

Minimum of three years of professional experience in communications or marketing.
Experience (and passion for) evaluating, developing, and implementing creative digital marketing campaigns with an emphasis on increasing engagement with target audiences preferred.
Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality deliverables on-time and within budget; ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills; ability to collaborate and interact with colleagues at all levels of the organization with diplomacy and discretion.
Strong copywriting, editing, and project management skills.
Demonstrated experience working with new media and social technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to develop and analyze options.
Experience with Slate or other admissions management software; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office; experience working with email marketing and website software, including Drupal and Google Analytics.
Master's degree or certificate in communications, marketing, or related field a plus.
Experience in higher education a plus.
