Northwestern University is seeking a temporary part-time Admin Communications Specialist for the Chicago campus.
Temporary Job Description:
The temporary Admin Communications Specialist position provides standard and routine project management and administrative support, which may include word processing, data entry, ordering supplies, opening and sorting mail, copying, filing, answering phones, greeting visitors, providing information, and/or scheduling meetings. Additionally, the temporary Admin Communications Specialist is responsible for executing and managing gift correspondence and acknowledgments on behalf of the department.
Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Business Administration or related field;
One year in a communications or administrative support role;
Strong writing skills;
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Experience demonstrating exceptional attention to detail.
Flexibility, adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
MS Office suite 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Graphic design experience utilizing the following specialized software: Acrobat Professional, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Site Executive, Central Desktop, and Visio.
