Manage Teaching Assistant appointment process (solicit applications for approx. 400 positions annually, work with faculty, communicate with students); oversee payroll (working closely with Finance/Human Resources); coordinate award process for annual Dean's Award for Excellence in Student Teaching; review, develop, and implement policies related to TA program.
Develop and implement training and support systems for TAs; primarily responsible for online TA Portal; oversee semesterly training in coordination with SLATE (HKS pedagogy team); create semesterly survey on TA responsibilities and analyze survey data, creating course-specific
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of five years of administrative or project management experience.
Excellent analytical, project management, and trouble-shooting skills; demonstrated ability to think strategically and to use data for strategic planning purposes; management of complex and demanding projects with multiple stakeholders; excellent customer service, team, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills; flexibility and adaptability; excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to work independently and with a high degree of accuracy under deadlines. Supervisory experience preferred. Experience with MS Office Suite. Knowledge of Harvard University is desirable.
