Assist the Office for Research Imaging within the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences in the startup, implementation, and ongoing conduct of clinical research which includes reviewing internal and external imaging studies, providing radiology cost estimates and coding to budget personnel, developing study logistics with imaging technologists and staff, assisting with radiation safety dosimetry, organizing startup meetings, sending image data to study sponsors, answering imaging related queries, & providing maintenance throughout the duration of a study. Additional responsibilities include protection of subjects and subject's rights through IRB regulations, and participation in research program audits. Prepare departmental research reports as needed.
To be successful candidates should have excellent communication skills and will need to be able to problem solve and have a high attention to detail. Be able to work in both a team environment and independently. Should have quick decision making skills and be able to adhere to strict protocols and regulations.
Bachelor's degree in science or a health-related field from an accredited institution and one year of health-related or clinical research experience; OR bachelor's degree in any other field/associate's degree in Allied Health professions and three years of health-related experience or two years of experience in clinical research.
General computer literacy. Capable of working on multiple projects daily and often times simultaneously. Works well with others and is extraordinarily organized. Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information.
Experience with clinical research, CPT codes, and project management tools.
This position is located at Goodman Hall, Neuroscience Center, next to Methodist Hospital.
