The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Project Manager. This incumbent will work with an interdisciplinary research team to implement and conduct research studies in the Departments of Physical Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh.
The coordinator will primarily be responsible for the planning and conduct of research studies, specifically ensuring that the studies are planned and executed in a manner that will ensure valid study results and in accordance with all University and federal regulations.
Management of research protocols, execution and compliance at the local level and in collaboration with outside institutions.
Acting as a liaison between investigators and other institutions.
Creating and maintaining study-related materials
Manual of operating procedures
Institutional review board and regulatory documentation
Assisting PIs in preparing and submitting reports required by funding agencies.
They will also be responsible for data-related aspects of remote, on-site clinical monitoring, and data and safety monitoring as well as coordinating with the data management center on all specific benchmarks for study start-up, continuation, and closeout. Supervise the research assistant student aides or research assistants employed to assist in this effort.
3 years of experience as project coordinator or administrator in a relevant field in healthcare. Experience with technical writing is preferred.
