Project management: Collaborate closely with internal clients, designers, and external vendors, from start to finish, to conceptualize, write, design, print, and deliver print and digital materials for key HKS events, recruitment and admissions activities, and for our student community. Develop detailed project plans and timelines, and monitor progress to deliver projects on time and ensure that quality standards are met. Seek opportunities for improvement and present ideas proactively for future projects.
Web writing, editing, and content management: Work in the Drupal content management system to write, edit, and maintain 150+ pages on the HKS website. Coordinate directly with DPSA colleagues to write, edit, and update content regularly and ensure that the editorial voice and style are in alignment with HKS guidelines. Work with the communications team to ensure that web content is developed to follow best practices (search engine optimization, page scrolls, etc.).
Reporting and tracking: Prepare department reports, including analyses based on web and social media performance, and monthly summaries of degree program activities.
Copyediting: Edit content and a range of materials, including recruitment collateral and email communications, to be in alignment with the HKS editorial and style guidelines.
Inventory management: Manage inventory of collateral kept in-house and at vendor locations. Order new inventory as needed.

Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or related field plus 3 years of professional communications experience.
5 years of professional communications experience including project management, marketing, and web editing preferred.
Excellent writing and editing skills, and ability to build positive, effective relationships with a range of constituents.
Understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) a must.
Experience working in higher education and with online marketing tools, including Google Analytics and email service providers (MailChimp, etc.).
Experience in Drupal, Asana, and Adobe Creative Suite a very strong plus.
Experience working with print vendors.
Digital photography, videography, and graphic design skills are a bonus.
Experience with web accessibility requirements.
