The University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) in Jackson, Mississippi is seeking candidates for a Manager-Clinical Nutrition to support its missions of academics, healthcare, and research. Please see the position description and requirements below.
The Manager-Clinical Nutrition will provide management and coordination of daily clinical nutrition operations including inpatient and outpatient nutrition services and milk bank. This includes developing, planning, implementing and maintaining optimal nutritional care. The Manager-Clinical Nutrition will also lead and direct department services through collaboration with employees, other departments, customers, etc., in order to provide the highest standard of service, quality and satisfaction.
Registered Dietitian as certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and three years’ experience. Experience cannot be substituted in lieu of educational requirement.
Valid dietitian license
Safe Serv Certification for Food handling

Knowledge of food and nutrition.
Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools.
Knowledge of performance management process and associated local, state, federal, and other regulations.
Knowledge of federal, state, and JCAHO regulations, standards, protocols, and procedures. Customer service skills.
Skill in budget preparation and fiscal management.
Ability to ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
Ability to train, motivate, and supervise employees.
