Our growing team, the Agile Center of Excellence, needs an Agile Coach to provide coaching, training, and guidance to foster agile adoption and maturity. We need a professional who can help shape the organization in developing behaviors that support agility at the team and enterprise level and provide a platform for continuous learning and growth.
The Agile Coach is an expert in agile practices and one or more knowledge domains (i.e., technical, business, organizational) while having developed some skill in facilitation, mentoring, training, and/or professional coaching. The Agile Coach's scope of influence is multi-team and looking out toward the broader organization.
Educates people at all levels, including senior members on Agile principles and practices.
Provides training and teaches valuable skills that lead toward the organization-wide adoption of agility
Assesses progress, identifies issues, organizes coaching sessions, and provides recommendations, as necessary.
Ensuring the healthy application of Agile practices and providing assistance to teams and programs when needed.
Assesses the Scrum Maturity of the teams and organization and coaches the team(s) to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
Championing the mindset changes and belief re-sets required to effect the desired business results.
Encourage transparency to the organization and grow trust.
Help identify organizational impediments and work with the leadership team to create effective strategies to overcome them.
Facilitate conflict resolution, teaching and mentoring others in facilitating discussions and alternatives of different approaches.
Sustaining the internal Agile Coaching Community and championing involvement in external Agile and Coaching communities.
Model good listening skills, asking questions and giving feedback.
Continually grow his/her craft learning and sharing new tools and techniques.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field such as information systems, mathematics, or computer science or equivalent work experience. Requires technical and business knowledge in multiple disciplines/processes.
Typically possesses 7+ years of relevant work experience. Consideration given to equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong presentation, facilitation, and interpe rsonal skills, including coaching and mentorship experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working with various levels of leadership
Experience in creating agile training and workshop material
Strong knowledge in multiple agile practices: Scrum, XP, Lean, Kanban, XDD, [email protected], Nexus, SAFe, etc.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to Agile COE customers and stakeholders.
Certifications: PSM 1 or CSM, PSM 2 or A-CSM, PSPO 1 or CSPO, KPM 1 A plus is to have the ICP-ACC certification, ICP-AF certification, CSP-SM or CSP-PO
