THIS IS NOT AN H1- B OPPORTUNITY ResponsibilitiesThe Project Manager/Analyst performs and manages a variety of functions including project management, systems build requirements gathering, internal and external communications, business analysis, management support of special projects or initiatives, and divisional metrics and measurements. Serves as a Resolute Billing Cycle liaison and assists the billing, registration and clinical departments to support the department's Revenue Cycle Information Systems applications. Prioritizes all incoming project work in alignment to the greatest financial impact to the organization. Partners with project teams and departments to prepare cash flow worksheets, requirements and project plans and will assist in the management of projects from design to deployment.The Analyst provides both tactical and strategic business analysis services to the Billing Systems Support Manager and business partners. The focus of this position is to work closely with Business Operations and Epic Application teams to gain an in-depth understanding of processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the department operates. This role will be critical to understanding, documenting, and analyzing capabilities needed to address Epic Applications business challenges. The Analyst is responsible for reviewing assigned projects and business processes from end-to-end to identify and address work effort milestones as well as operational, financial and technological risks. The Analyst is responsible for leading activities related to change (process, organizational, technology), from idea generation to development and through to implementation. Acts as the project manager and/or functional lead for internal projects and initiatives. This includes developing all project artifacts from project initiation to close, tracking status of tasks, risks and budget, chairing project meetings, and distributing project updates and communications. May provide guidance to other Project Managers and ensure that Project Management standards are being adhered to. Tracks the overall department budget and ensure the financial forecast is aligned with projected and actual costs and resources. In direct support of the Billing System Support Manager, the Analyst provides assistance and management in support of critical areas of technology administration. This support includes budgeting, resource development and allocation, services development, delivery, and satisfaction. Provides assistance to the Billing Systems Support Manager in data collection, analysis, options identification, and development of recommendations. Required Qualifications
Broad knowledge of Epic applications (operational support and implementation), and healthcare IT functions including finance and operations
Knowledge of project management principles, theories, and concepts and of various areas of IT
Demonstrated competency in selecting and implementing project and resource management methods and techniques. Experience tracking effort and project progress of multiple teams and ensure deadlines are met
Demonstrated strong conceptual and planning skills to analyze projects of broad and diverse scope
Demonstrated expert organization and project management skills
Demonstrated ability to manage project progress within time and budget constraints
Working knowledge of electronic health record initiatives and an understanding of impact to the organization of such initiatives
Ability to assess departmental, medical center, affiliates or Office of the President needs for information technology products and information and design services and communication to meet those needs
Demonstrated capacity to anticipate obstacles and plan for contingencies. Demonstrated attention to detail and effective problem solving skills. Demonstrated ability to determine relevance and prioritize tasks.
Demonstrated experience with analytics and metrics administration and experienced and capable in collecting data in many formats and refine into formats that are highly effective in reporting and conveying issues and status
Demonstrated competency in selecting and implementing project and resource management methods and techniques
Proficient in writing, analysis, and use of all Microsoft office and relevant web development and portal tools
Highly organized self-starter with the ability to be constantly aware of the goals and deliverables for the Patient Revenue department
Bachelor degree in English, Business Administration, Health Informatics, Computer Information Systems, or similar topics
