The ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT (ODC) is a strategic partner to Centura Healths leaders and HRBusiness Partners. In this role you'll lean on your organizational development expertise, leverage your strategic skills, andexecute project plans focused on associate and physician engagement and talent management. More specifically, you willdesign and lead efforts that strengthen the engagement and performance of Centura Health leaders, providers, andassociates. You'll have the opportunity to shape cultural integration strategies, partner with system and local leadership toimplement the work, and proactively make recommendations for how to support organizational effectiveness, engagementand performance. In addition, you'll provide expertise in change management, engagement, succession planning andprofessional development. You'll serve as a consultant on the design and implementation of engagement and performancerelated strategic initiatives. This role provides a lot of autonomy and you'll serve as an internal consultant to system leaders,business units, clinical leaders, and providers.
This position is primarily responsible for associate and physician engagement including the technical administration ofCentura Healths pulse and annual physician and associate engagement, onboarding, exit and ad hoc surveys. This positionis accountable for the administration and analysis of the pulse, annual, onboarding, exit, and ad hoc surveys as well as thedesign and delivery of comprehensive engagement, talent management and organizational development solutions (such as: associate and physician engagement, quarterly performance).
In this position, the individual will provide guidance and advice to help HR Business Partners and Leaders enhance theassociate and physician experience. This role involves examining both big-picture aspects of engagement, onboarding, andretention and detailed components of organizational and people development such as platform administration, dataanalytics, and, working with individual leaders, their departments, our hospitals and clinics and the enterprise, to identifyareas for improvement as well as introduce new strategies. The ODC will work with HR Business Partners and Leaders,providing human capital and organizational development expertise and guidance to enhance associate and physicianengagement. In this role, the ODC is responsible for integrating organizational and talent strategies aligned with CenturaHealths 2025 business strategy.
This role is responsible for effective integration and partnership with an internal, multi-disciplinary people and culture team(People and Culture Development, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Analytics, Workforce Planning) and consulting withbusiness, physician, clinical, and HR leaders to support the continuous development of Centura Healths workforcecapabilities. The ODC is a member of the People and Culture team and reports to the Director of People and CultureDevelopment.
What You Bring/Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
Minimum 5 to 7 years of progressive experience (preferably working in a healthcare environment) performingorganizational development consulting duties (e.g., internal consulting and coaching, organizational development, associateand physician engagement, talent development, performance management, cohort leadership programs, and changemanagement).
Three years of experience in a comparable role leading large scale engagement, learning and development initiatives ispreferred.
Requires demonstrated expertise in of learning and organizational development principles and methodologies
Master's Degree required, preferably in Organizational Development, Psychology, Leadership, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certified in Hogans Assessment Battery (HPI, HDS, MVPI) is preferred.
Coaching certification from an ICF accredited program is preferred.
