The Manager, Integration & Identity Services will oversee two functional areas: Identity Management and Integration. This Manager will take a leadership role in the planning, implementing, and contributing to the design and support of the security middleware for centrally managed enterprise services. In addition, the incumbent will manage an integrations center for enablement, helping ensuring consistency of architecture within the team and the larger Enterprise Application Services area.Â The position has overall responsibility for the staff performance and operations of six employees. Works closely with customers to identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and to promote the strategic use of information technology and is also responsible for ensuring that new services integrate into existing infrastructure. Oversees the development of streamlined and effective processes and procedures for the IDM and Integration teams.
Bachelorâ™s degree in technical area or equivalent experience.
Supervisory or lead experience required.
A minimum of 5 years of programming and application integration with significant experience in enterprise middleware applications.
In-depth knowledge of and experience with Java.
Working knowledge of MySQL, Oracle or comparable Database.
LDAP experience strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of Shibboleth and Mace Grouper preferred.
Experience with Mulesoft technologies strongly preferred.
Relevant experience working in higher education infrastructure preferred.
Project management skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
