The Project Manager will support Office of the President goals by providing research and analysis on key topics and areas of strategic interest, and also by managing projects and deliverable schedules. The incumbent will assist with building project and program plans, including budgets and human resource plans. The Project Manager will analyze information, write reports, and prepare public presentations. The incumbent will also produce reports, agendas, dashboards and minutes for project team meetings. The Project Manager will design, manage, and implement programs, services, events, and other offerings led by the Office of the President. The incumbent will design materials for dissemination, produce and maintain website and social media content, as well as prepare correspondence and other communication materials. The Project Manager will also supervise a Program Administrator.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in public policy or community relations.
Required Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience conducting primary research, administering academic or organizational programs, and preparing budgets. Experience using social media platforms to engage stakeholders effectively.
Preferred Experience: Experience working in a higher-education environment.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Strong organizational and project management skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the demonstrated ability to develop and sustain effective relationships in support of organizational goals. Ability to work and communicate with diverse internal and external stakeholders in individual and group settings. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation applications and with various social media platforms. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion, and attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
