As part of the Feld Center for Industry Alliances and reporting directly to the Director of Employer Engagement for the Feld Center, the main goals of the Assistant Director of Employer and Undergraduate Engagement are (1) to enhance and expand on/off campus employer/alumni engagement by establishing strong relationships and executing high quality employer events, (2) to act as a first point of contact for undergraduate industry coaching and (3) supervising up to three graduate students per semester.
The incumbent shall liaise with key employers, staff, alumni, faculty, and students in order to develop important networks and to keep abreast of employer needs. They will be the point person for employers regarding (but not limited to) job postings and all on-campus recruiting activity.
In addition, the incumbent will meet with all undergraduate students who have been referred by their primary career coach (in the Undergraduate Academic & Career Development Center) for an industry relations meeting with the Feld Center for Industry Alliances. The incumbent will provide an overview of upcoming events, relevant job and interview opportunities, and help students build on their existing networking strategies.
