This position will be located at our Headquarter in West Loop, Chicago, IL.
Starting salary will be $36,000 and raised to $38,000 once you passed the 90-day performance review. 5% bonus + annual merit increase opportunity upon annual performance appraisal.

If you enjoy community involvement and youth education advocacy, come join Junior Achievement of Chicago as our Program Operations Manager! The Program Operations Manager implements and manages the daily operations of all Junior Achievement programs for designated geographic/market area. Responsibilities include school recruitment & management, volunteer recruitment, training and management, class enrollment, along with networking/brand-awareness for the area. You'll be tasked with preparing accurate and current outreach reports, assisting in prospective program expansion, and managing school and business relationships.
Advocate for JA programs to increase public awareness and meet program impact goals in geographic/market area.
Liaise among schools, businesses and volunteers. Coordinate program implementations by scheduling/attending programs/events, learning schools needs, consistently securing the placement of all volunteers from companies or community organizations within geographic/market area.
Provide exceptional hands-on service to all volunteers, executive partners, and teachers. Maintain quality and accurate information on volunteers and companies in geographic/market area.
Prepare accurate and current outreach reports. Ensure program quality and expansion.
Update and maintain program CRM system.
Assist Program Directors with all program-related Board Committees in carrying out their specific functions. Prepare material for Board and Committee meetings as needed.
Participate in special events to build relationships with Area Board, community partners and businesses as needed.
Education/Experience Required: Associate’s degree. At least one year of business experience preferred. Proven oral and written communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities; be self-motivated and highly organized; computer knowledge in word processing and spreadsheet documents extremely helpful. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and adequate vehicle transportation to meet the responsibilities of the position.
