Program Specialist 1 will report directly to the Associate Vice President of International Education and Sponsored Program. PS1 will support all activities related to proposal development and compliance requirements, integrity of business operation of the Office of Grants and Sponsored Programs, and the maintenance of records and archives
Description of Duties and Tasks:
Program Specialist 1 will monitor and track financial transaction of grants and sponsored programs. Program Specialist1 will review official accounting records with monitored and tracked financial records of grants management team and report any discrepancies to AVP and project management team. Program Specialist1 will support the timely reporting of program performance report and development of program financial reports. Program Specialist1 will maintain close working relationship with Project Management teaming other units involved in the grants management process. Program Specialist1 will develop internal Office of Grants and Sponsored Programs reports on process and procedural changes for greater office effectiveness in grants management operations.
Minimum Qualifications :
Associate degree in business or related fields and/or equivalent education, training and experience. Several years of experience in supporting grants or general projects. Spreadsheet and data management experience.
Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration or management. Significant years of working experience preferably in an educational institution. PMP certification or equivalent practical experience. Demonstrated success in grants management work. High level skill and knowledge in spreadsheet other data management software.
