5-7 years of Management experience managing a variety of personnel levels within an organization.
HigherEd experience with Ellucian BANNERERP or Oracle Database.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary purpose of the director is to provide strategic direction to the areas reporting to this business unit. Focus of this position will be centered around the application modules housed within the BANNERERP system and other Ellucian applications, providing direction and support for internally developed and third party applications which require integration with the ERP system, and security and stewardship of the institutional data housed in an Oracle database. Position performs high level of project management, interface and coordination with campus functional leads, participation in hands on technical activities, participation in evaluation of solutions, participation with other ITS directors for formulation of strategy and facilitation of efforts. This position has a hands on influence in the daily operations of the Enterprise Applications group and would be expected to bring a significant hands on expertise in one of the following areas: BANNERERP System modules: Advancement Finance Financial Aid HR Student OR Oracle Database Management OR Business Intelligence OR Another relevant area of expertise
As part of the CIO leadership team, the director translates university mission and CIO strategic objectives into direction for the work unit and contributes to leadership activities such as budget and resource management, departmental policies and strategic planning. The Director of Enterprise Applications Services works with department and division leaders to understand institutional needs, provide solutions and support a suite of administrative and academic applications that are mission critical and widely used throughout the university.
Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or other technology related field.
5-7 years of progressive software development Or database management experience.
Demonstrated experience in Agile development environment.
