Budget Title: Senior Staff Assistant (SL-3)
Salary: $48, 201
The University Center for Training and Development (UCTD) provides support and facilitates learning, growth and development for the faculty and staff of Binghamton University. The center is responsible for facilitating and providing professional development offerings, compliance training, wellness sessions, and technical training for various applications.
The Training Associate is responsible for the design and delivery of technical and soft skills training. Areas of instruction include MS Office, Binghamton University Business Systems, and other applications used by faculty and staff.
Assist in all aspects of training video production from pre-production to post production, including videography, screen capture, audio capture, and editing
Assist with creation and maintenance of digital training content
Design and delivery of workshops to groups and individuals
Creation of documentation for end users
Provide support to end users via email, telephone, or in-person to faculty and staff
One to three years of experience with video editing tools (Camtasia, Panopto, Premier Pro, or FinalCut)
Experience with training/teaching in a professional setting
Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
Ability to work productively within a team environment
Preferred qualifications include:
Experience using e-learning development applications (Articulate Studio/Storyline, Captivate, Adobe Photoshop/!Hustrator, Animate/After Effects
Knowledge of/experience with e-learning technical standards (SCORM, AICC, xAPI)
Experience in creating marketing materials or campaigns
Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse professional environment
