MARKETING ASSISTANT , Alumni Association , to perform diverse project and administrative tasks for the MIT Annual Fund. Will provide advanced administrative support for multiple programs and projects and work closely with staff members dedicated to digital marketing and direct mail for the Annual Fund, including campus-wide annual giving initiatives.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : a high school diploma or its equivalent; at least three years of communications and/or administrative experience; strong organizational skills; attention to detail; flexibility; strict attention to detail; excellent interpersonal, customer service, administrative, problem solving, and verbal and written communication skills; strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel; and an aptitude for numbers and analysis. Must be able to juggle multiple priorities and coordinate multifaceted tasks, work under tight deadlines and pressure, and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. PREFERRED : strong writing and proofreading skill, knowledge of print production and bidding, a background in nonprofit or higher education organizations, a bachelor's degree, and knowledge of desktop publishing (specifically Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Silverpop Engage or a comparable email platform (MailChimp, ConstantContact, etc.).
