Under administrative direction, this position provides comprehensive institutional research services for Riverland Community College in order to enhance data-driven decision making and college effectiveness in meeting key performance indicators. This position applies quantitative & qualitative research and statistical analysis methods including predictive analytics and forecasting to evaluate, interpret results and make recommendations to improve student success.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field.
Three years of experience in a position with duties that include data management, data analysis, reporting, project management, and/or quantitative research.
Advanced proficiency with query and reporting tools (such as Excel and Access).
Experience with statistical computing tools (such as SPSS).
Strong ability to organize, take initiative and operate independently with minimal direction.
Ability to manage and complete multiple projects with strict deadlines.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Master's degree or higher.
Demonstrated experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods, statistical modeling and trend analysis.
Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI and/or SAS.
Understanding of assessment practices in higher education including student learning assessment and academic program review.
Experience working with grants and data reporting.
Effective presentation and group facilitation skills.
