Looking for a full or part-time associate veterinarian in McKinney, Texas. Our hospital is currently being refreshed and modernized with new technology (paperless, cloud-based practice management software, tablets, new workstations), new equipment (upgraded dental x-ray, new IDEXX laboratory machines, digital x-ray, surgical laser, cautery, cold laser, etc), and aesthetic design, all designed to capture a younger, tech-enabled and family-centric audience.
Our group has a young leadership team, led by doctors who support innovation and modern technology, but are maintaining family-owned local flavor with a large emphasis on community involvement. The primary responsibilities of the associate veterinarian are to practice high quality veterinary care, provide excellent customer service to our clients, and a dedication to continuing education and development. Our Chief of Staff is available for mentorship, and you will likely work with her 2-3 days per week. Ideal qualities include being personable, confident, hardworking, and dedicated to high quality companion animal general practice (internal medicine and general surgery).

Skills and Basic Qualifications:
DVM or equivalent from an accredited university
Texas license in good standing or eligible for licensure in Texas
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
The ability to delegate responsibility and achieve results with hospital team members
Demonstrates excellent time and task management
Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation with staff and clients
