Kind Veterinary Clinic is looking to hire a new associate to replace a retiring partner. Our clinic is 4 doctors with about a 90% pets and 10% cattle. The cattle work is about 80% dairy.
The person we seek will be responsible for the majority of the farm calls. You will share with another doctor initially and eventually move toward most of the farm calls. Thus, your time will be 20%and growing to about 30% farm calls. We are looking for candidates with a strong interest and proficiency in dairy programs. The remainder of the cattle work is a mixture of cow/calf, feedlot and dairy beef calf raisers.
The dairy in our area is limited to small, yet progressive farms. They range from 60 cow tie stall to 300 free stall farms. Most farms are on monthly or 2 week scheduled visits. All scheduled farms are using ultrasound (Ibex Lite.)
For your time working pets, you will be assisted by a wonderful tech and reception staff. The clinic is fairly new – built in 1998. We have all the usual toys – CBC, Chem (Abaxis), computerized radiography, digital dental radiography and ultrasound.
