Event & Project Management: o Help manage events such as alumni conferences, competitions, and related programming. Coordinate logistics including room scheduling, media services, catering, marketing, and vendor management. Attend events to prevent issues and ensure smooth implementation. o Support programming needs of the Rock Center for Entrepreneurs in Residence, the New Venture Initiative, Rock Entrepreneurs' and Builders Summit, The Edge Workshops and ongoing initiatives with our alumni entrepreneurs.
Administration: o Actively manage the Entrepreneur in Residence, Rock Venture Partner and Lawyer in Residence program (40+ experts). This includes scheduling of participants, day to day management of appointments, marketing of open office hours to students, orientation of new EIRs and reporting of program metrics and serving as the point of contact for all Rock EiRs, VCPs and LiRs. o Track metrics and analyze demand/satisfaction/outcomes associated with other Rock Center initiatives such as the Rock 100 Founders and Builders programs, o Process invoices and reimbursements. Tracks expenses. o Schedule group meetings by identifying feasible dates/times and sending Outlook invitations. o Provide general administrative coordination and support for Rock Center Director o Cross-train with the Rock Community manager on key administrative roles such as website updates, newsletter distribution, and other tasks as seen necessary to support the team.
Technical: o Manage salesforce alumni and company database, and assist with custom surveys. Input data, update records, run reports, and coordinate with other offices to maintain data integrity. o Manage the OnceHub EIR scheduling tool. o Work with Digital Media manager to support areas of Rock website focused on alumni, external stakeholders and resources, and new marketplace application Other Duties: o Help research local events, resources, and programs as well as courses, cases, and books related to entrepreneurship.
Communication: o Principle source of contact with alumni, research centers, other Harvard schools and external stakeholders seeking to get involved with the Rock Center and learn more about our entrepreneurship program o Work with assoc. director to generate and distribute (via Silverpop or other tool) Rock Center newsletter. Support alumni social media efforts
