Our Department of Neurology provides uniquely comprehensive care to adult and pediatric cancer patients. The Department of Neurology includes specialists in adult and pediatric neurology, rehabilitation medicine, and various subspecialties.
Our Rehabilitation staff includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, and physiatrists(physicians who specialize in rehabilitation medicine) who collaborate to improve our patients well-being. We have expertise in therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular training, pulmonary rehabilitation, and other techniques for improving quality of life. We also provide educational resources to patients and their families.
As a Project Manager, you will:
Initiate, plan, develop and conduct project methodologies to facilitate departmental initiatives and fulfill programmatic needs
Identify and perform requisite analyses (operational and financial) for Chair, Service Chief and Director which support departmental and programmatic plans. Gather and manipulate data, and present results, findings and recommendations to the Director prior to presentation to departmental clinicians or hospital administration.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to address departmental issues acting as representative of the Director as well as the Chairs and Service Chief.
Lead the functions and activities of assigned staff/project team members. Provide direction, guidance and feedback as appropriate and necessary.
Maintain and enhance professional growth and development and enhance quality improvement initiatives in effort to keep abreast of the latest trends in field. Participate and serve on organization-wide committees. Coordinate and integrate interdepartmental and intradepartmental services and communications.

A Bachelors degree plus 4-7 years of project management/coordination experience or a minimum of 6 years relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
MBA, MPA, or MPH and experience in health care preferred.
Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Strong information management skills.
Analytical skills and a statistical acumen.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
