Develop project launch marketing collateral and design an outreach strategy to inform and attract new partners and fellows to the SDP Career and Technical education fellowship program as well as a developing portfolio of SDP for Higher Education services
Organize visits to recruit new partners and potentially travel to recruit new partners at national conferences, universities, and convenings.
Support outreach activities for other SDP programs, as needed, particularly around the launch and marketing of new programs and services
Application and Record Management
Update and maintain SDP Higher Education records, website pages and online application in collaboration with the SDP outreach team.
Develop and manage participant tracking and recruitment databases.
SDP Planning and Event Management Event Coordination and Management Plan and coordinate the logistics for meetings related to SDP CTE and Higher Education including: program planning meetings, workshops, annual convenings, and other meetings as required. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Negotiating with hotels, caterers and vendors, identifying space for learning, makes recommendations for food and activities for participants, managing to a pre-assigned event/function budget; assigns and coordinates dorm, classroom, AV and other facilities on behalf of program;
Travel to support execution at SDP events, as needed.
Work with Project Manager and Directors to support the development of meeting content and collateral (e.g., agenda, tools, training guides, etc.).
Validation Network Communications and Outreach
Support outreach and onboarding of new Validation Network partners, in collaboration with the project director
Develop marketing and outreach materials to share internally and with potential partners and intervention developers
Maintain Validation Network website, participant databases, and other project tools
Communicate regularly with participating schools, teachers, and intervention developers
Event Coordination and Management
Plan and coordinate the logistics for Validation Network meetings, including visits to partner sites and network convenings. Travel to support execution at events, as needed.
This position is a term appointment for one year from the date of hire, with a strong possibility of continuation. The SDP Higher Education project has three years of funding from the ECMC Foundation for its Career and Technical Education-focused Fellowship program.
