The Centura Health Security Analyst is accountable for security awareness, strategy, and direction of all security related operations for Centura Health network devices and operating system-based configurations. Responsibilities include Centura Health/infrastructure security management, ongoing training and escalation of Centura Health security incidents.
The engineer role represents the security needs of the organization by providing expertise and assistance for all securityrelated projects and managed systems. Demonstrates security expertise and consults in product selection, proceduredevelopment, application development, database configuration, network and/or platform (operating system) efforts.
A Security Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing enterprise information security strategies, technicalarchitectures and solutions as well as tier III problem resolution. Supports and maintains the overall security environmentand enforces security policies and procedures that safeguard the integrity of, and access to, enterprise systems, files anddata elements.
What You Bring/Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
1 year of network and system monitoring experience with large enterprise environments working with Linux, OS X, UNIXand Windows operating systems-preferred
Ability to read, analyze and interpret security and technical periodicals, journals, technical procedures or governmentalregulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
Must have basic understanding of the OSI Model, network routing and protocols
3 years of experience in information security, risk or audit management, or business continuity, preferred
Experience leading IT projects, programs that span across multiple departments or matrixed resources, preferred
Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication skills, preferred
Ability to identify and communicate information security and business continuity risks, preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Certification or specialized information security training in the following required: CISSP, SANS GSEC or above, Microsoft Windows, Cisco, TCP/IP. Equivalent work will be considered.
Physical Requirements:Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
