What will you be doing in this role?
The Trainer will contribute to the development, implementation and success of the software applications/systems.
Train end-user and all other assigned classes to help ensure the proficient use of applications.
Develop and maintain application training materials, including eLearning modules, as directed by the Lead Trainer.
Participate in workflow design and system build sessions in order to gain and maintain the expertise necessary to assist in the continuous improvement of the training curricula development and delivery process.
Assist with mentoring Associate Trainers.
Other responsibilities include:
Support all elements of applications training planning, design, development, and implementation.
Provide training for all phases of the applications implementation life cycle, including training super-users, other trainers, and end-users.
Train and coache end-users, super-users, and training support staff during and after training sessions, and during optimization initiatives.
Provide remedial and computer basics assistance to students who have difficulty acquiring the necessary skills to achieve proficiency on the application.
Develop and conduct training overviews and attends training change communication events.
Contributes to the development of training plans for their designated applications and user roles.
Develop detailed curriculum content that includes, but is not limited to leader/student guides, quick reference materials, job aids, scripts, and scenarios.
Work with project managers, applications managers, applications specialists, and subject matter experts to assist with the development, validation, and updating of training materials
Assist with the build, configuration, and testing of training environments.
Proactively escalates issues and risks to senior trainers and their designated Lead Trainer.
Assist with the development and execution of appropriate success criteria and measures for training.
Troubleshoot problems or questions from end users.
Assist in the development of policies and procedures for all areas of training responsibility.
Provide end-user implementation-related support.
Complete all assigned project tasks and requirements within designated timelines.
