This position is in the Dean's Office at the Olin Business School. This position is for the Danforth Campus.
This position provides high-level administrative support and works closely with the Executive Assistant to manage daily activities in the Olin School of Business, Dean’s Office. This individual will serve as the point of contact for visitors to the Dean’s Office. This individual will make judgements about priorities, and provide support to the Chief of Staff and executive leadership team as requested.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet visitors, answer telephone calls, direct callers and visitors, and follow-up as necessary.
Provide daily calendar and supporting documents to the Dean. Provide support to the Chief of Staff and other executive leadership team members as needed.
Coordinate and support meetings and events hosted by the Dean’s Office. Assist the Executive Assistant when organizing and managing logistics and reservations of receptions, dinners, conferences and seminars.
Manage calendars, travel, mailings, set up of meetings for the Dean’s Office support staff, maintain files, photocopy, monitor and order office supplies, and assist in FIS.
Open, read and log the Dean’s mail.
Provide support for the UK Center for Digital Education staff.
Serve as a back-up to the Executive Assistant.
Perform other duties as assigned.
High school degree.
One year of administrative experience.
Familiarity with FIS systems.
Ability to use discretion and good judgement.
Experience in proofreading/editing.
The hiring range for this position is $16.31 - $20.39 per hour.
