Reports deviations from normal conditions to supervisor, (e.g. temperature, airflow, water, food consumption, physical condition of animals).
Maintains animal care/facility records
Performs related job duties as required.
Initially, this position will work a Monday - Friday schedule. Upon AALAS ALAT certification, the position will shift to a Thursday - Monday schedule.
This is a one-year term position with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding.
This position is considered essential and the employee may be required to report to work during school closures, inclement weather, and/or other emergencies.
Working during weekends and holidays may be required on a rotating schedule.
Other overtime may also be required.
