SANDBOX INNOVATION PROGRAM COORDINATOR , School of Engineering-MIT Sandbox Innovation Fund Program , to implement operational and administrative activities for Sandbox including application tracking and coordination of student programs, workshops, and expert advisor sessions. Responsibilities include developing systems for data collection and analysis to evaluate program effectiveness and producing communication materials and write-ups; representing Sandbox to internal stakeholders and partners; and providing input to the executive director for strategic planning and operations.
MIT Sandbox Innovation Fund Program meaningful seed funding of up to $25,000 for student-initiated ideas, mentoring from within MIT and from a broad network of committed partners and tailored educational experiences.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : bachelor's degree; at least two years' administrative and project management experience; experience with content management software such as WordPress or Squarespace; demonstrated skill in the areas of organization and project management and synthesizing information from various sources including critical thinking and analyses; proficiency with standard data management software such as Excel, the Google Suite, and SurveyMonkey; discretion and good judgment with confidential information; and strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. Must be able to prioritize and work on multiple complex tasks simultaneously; problem solve; interact effectively with a wide range of diverse colleagues; and function effectively in a dynamic, deadline-driven, and team-oriented environment. PREFERED : familiarity with MIT; master's degree or higher; experience with research projects and producing research reports; experience with reporting on program metrics, including demographics and other program statistics; proficiency with design software, e.g., Adobe Illustrator; and experience writing grants, proposals, and research papers.
